Just place a garlic clove under the flat side of a chef’s knife or the side of a heavy spoon.Press down gently but firmly until the garlic clove slightly crushes. The skin will split, making it easy to remove, and you can instantly use these garlic cloves for cooking.




The shake method

This method of peeling garlic calls for a jar or a container to quickly loosen the skins of the garlic cloves. It’s great if you need to peel a large number of cloves at once. Just separate the cloves from the garlic bulbs, then place the garlic cloves into a metal or glass jar. Seal the jar with a lid and shake vigorously for about 10-20 seconds.Open the jar, and the skins will have been mostly or completely removed from the cloves. This method works by creating friction, which helps separate the skins from the garlic. It’s a quick and efficient way to peel multiple cloves in a flash.



The microwave method

If you are always in a jiffy and don’t have time to manually remove the peels, then follow this microwave method, which can help peel garlic cloves almost instantly. Place the garlic bulb in the microwave and heat it on high for about 10-15 seconds.Once the garlic has cooled down slightly, squeeze the cloves out of their skins with your fingers. Rolling pin method

This method is very similar to the smash-and-peel technique but requires a rolling pin, making it a great option if you already use it. To try this method, lay a garlic clove on a cutting board.Place a rolling pin over the garlic and press down firmly. Roll the pin back and forth gently to loosen the skins, then peel them off.This method is effective and simple, and the added pressure of the rolling pin helps break the skin free from the garlic.
