Beginning February 1, Cool Cabs will charge an extra ₹8, while Mumbai’s meter-based auto rickshaws and taxis will experience a fee hike of ₹3. The cost of commuting in the city will increase as a result of this fee increase. The end of April is the deadline for meter changes under the updated pricing system. Passengers now pay more according to the new fee chart, which shows an 11% increase in auto rickshaw tickets, a 10% increase in taxi fares, and a notable 20% increase in Cool Cab charges.

Kaali-Peeli Taxis: Starting on February 1st, the base charge will be Rs 31 instead of the present Rs 28. Note that this is the basic food for the day. There will also be an increase in the night rates, which take effect at midnight every day!

Autorickshaws: Currently, the base cost for riding an autorickshaw throughout the day is Rs 23. This will rise to Rs 26.

Silver and Blue AC Cool taxis: The present basic fee of Rs 40 would increase by Rs 8 to Rs 48 for the first 1.5 kilometers in these CNG-powered cars.
