  • 4-5 medium sized potatoes (boiled and peeled)

  • 1/2 cup yogurt

  • 1 big onion

  • 2 large tomatoes (pasted)

  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

  • salt to taste

  • 2 tablespoons oil (for frying and fry)

  • Chopped coriander (for garnishing)

  • Dum potatoes are very easy to make. For this, first fry the boiled potatoes in a little hot oil, so that they become a little crispy. When smooth, take it out.

  • Now heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry onion in it. Now add ginger-garlic paste to it and fry it till the fragrance comes.

  • Now add tomato paste to the pan and cook well till the oil is separated with the spices. – Now all spices

  • Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder and salt.

  • Now add boiled potatoes and cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes, so that all flavors are mixed well. Dum Aloo is ready. Serve decorated with chopped green coriander.

  • First of all, filter the soaked rice and remove the excess water.

  • After this, heat ghee and oil in a pan. Then add green cardamom, cloves and cinnamon sticks and fry for some time, so that the fragrance comes.

  • Now add chopped onion and fry it till it becomes golden. After this, put the mix vegetables in the pan and cook for some time. Now add soaked rice to the pan and mix.

  • Add water, salt and saffron thread to it. Mix all these well and cook on high flame till the water dries and rice is cooked, then reduce the heat.

  • After heating the pan, let the casseron cool for 10-15 minutes.

  • Now decorate the hot casserole with green coriander and serve with power potatoes.
