In an effort to reduce poverty in the state, the state administration has started the process of creating a strong framework for the expansion of the “Zero Poverty P4” initiative.
For this reason, a state-level society will be established, with the chief minister serving as its chair and the deputy chief minister as its vice-chair. In addition, the society will include a wing team, a program team, a tech team, and a chief executive officer (CEO).
The local MLA will lead the constituency-level secretariat chapters, the local panchayat secretary and ward administrative heads will lead the village-level secretariat chapters, and the relevant district in-charge minister will chair the district chapter of the society.
On Tuesday, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu held a review at the Secretariat on the development of state-level society and the progress of P4. He instructed the officials to ensure that all district collectors, ministers, and MLAs identify the “Margadarsis” (pioneers) and adopt the “Bangaru Kutumbams” (golden families).
The Chief Minister believed that if information about the donors, their contributions, and the amount still required for these Bangaru Kutumbams were made public, there would be transparency. He went on to say that this would boost P4’s confidence even more.
According to them, P4 was created to enable contributors to adopt villages, families, and mandals in addition to giving money. The ability to offer financial support online to anyone they want to aid has been made available to donors. They said that login onto the P4 platform is the first step in the complete procedure for the donors.
The Chief Minister gave the staff instructions to finish the whole process by August and ensure that it is put into effect right away. Additionally, Chandrababu gave the authorities instructions to provide an annual status report on the P4 program’s accomplishments for this year by the following Ugadi.
