Shoppers are busy hitting supermarkets to get their Christmas bits in time for the big day next week. Recently, I asked nine major UK supermarkets to tell me which products they thought were the standouts from their 2025 Christmas ranges. From mouthwatering mains to decadent desserts, the results were truly inviting, and UK shoppers can expect many treats this festive season.
When it comes to the UK's largest supermarket, Tesco, there are six products bosses believe will be a hit with customers this year. The British supermarket has introduced a range of new products, including party food and sweet treats. Here are the six items customers will be most excited about in the lead-up to Christmas 2025.
Tesco Finest Festive Berry Panna Cotta Snowflake (£12)Part of the supermarket's Festive Food to Order Range, this inviting dessert is available for collection or delivery from Sunday, December 21. It is made with "indulgent" West Country whipping cream, infused with a subtle hint of Madagascan vanilla, topped with a winter berry sauce for a burst of fruity flavour.
Tesco Finest Salted Banoffee Cascading Star (£14)
This one, which serves eight people, is set to be a stand-out in the Tesco 2025 Christmas range and an eye-catching dessert on your Christmas table. This dessert, which Tesco describes as a "showstopping centrepiece", is a rich banana sponge that comes with sachets of salted caramel sauce and caramelised popcorn pieces to place on top, which give it an extra nutty crunch.
When it comes to party food for the festive season, Tesco has introduced its Finest Scallop & King Prawn Toast, choosing it as a stand-out in the whole festive range. In a pack of nine, you will find scallops and king prawns mixed through spices and vegetables on a bed of sweet, crispy bread.
Tesco Finest Chef's Collection Winslade Baking Cheese with Fig & Damsons (£18)
More food for hosting comes in the form of Tesco Finest Chef's Collection Winslade Baking Cheese with Fig & Damsons. Cheese has become synonymous with Christmas celebrations, and Tesco is among the supermarkets stepping up to the plate to give us exciting cheeses to try this festive season.
This comes in the form of a British soft cheese, aged in a spruce collar with a mild, yet rich and creamy flavour. It is ready to bake in a ceramic pot with a brandied, caramelised fig and damson compote.
Tesco Finest Burrata with a Hot Maple Glaze & Pistachios (£5.50)
Tesco wasn't done with the festive cheese delights it had on offer for shoppers in 2025. It has also introduced its Finest Burrata with a Hot Maple Glaze & Pistachios, which is a creamy sharing Burrata finished with a hot maple glaze and crowned with pistachio nibs.
Tesco Finest Slow Cooked Pork Belly Bites with cherry chipotle glaze (£5.50)
Party food and desserts seem to be what Tesco thinks customers will be most excited about for Christmas 2025, and its final choice is a party food dish that will surely intrigue and entice your guests this festive season. The Tesco Finest Slow Cooked Pork Belly Bites with cherry chipotle glaze does what it says on the tin. It is pieces of slow-cooked pork belly with a smoky BBQ seasoning and a cherry chipotle drizzle.
