New Delhi:While there is tremendous enthusiasm among the fans regarding The Raja Saab, an incident that came to light during an event in Hyderabad has created a wave of anger in the entertainment industry and social media. The scuffle and misbehavior with actress Nidhhi Agerwal during the launch of the song ‘Sahna Sahna’ of the film has raised serious questions on security and crowd management.

A huge crowd had gathered at this event organized at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening. The film’s director Maruti and lead actress Nidhi Agarwal were also present. After the conclusion of the event, when Nidhi was moving towards her car, the crowd standing outside surrounded her from all sides. People came very close and the situation became so bad that the actress had to move forward amidst the pushing and shoving.

In the video surfaced on social media, it can be clearly seen that Nidhi along with her security team is trying to reach the car, but the crowd is continuously stopping and pushing them. Despite the presence of security personnel, the situation was not coming under control. After a lot of effort, Nidhi was successful in sitting in the car, but fear and distress were clearly visible on her face.

Chinmayi Sripada’s sharp statement

Famous singer Chinmayi Sripada expressed anger on this incident on social media. He wrote that this behavior of the crowd of men was “worse than that of wolves”. He sarcastically said that insulting hyenas is also wrong because the thinking is the same – such people in the crowd would harass a woman in the same way. This statement of Chinmayi got support from many people.

Outrage erupted on social media

As soon as the video of the incident went viral, people reacted strongly on the internet. Many users called it irresponsible and unsafe behavior. Some clearly said that fans should respect personal space, while many people raised questions on the arrangements of the event.

One user wrote, “What happened to #NidhhiAgerwal at the launch of #TheRajaSaab song is scary. Crowd management is very important.” At the same time, some people directly blamed the film team and event management and said that there should have been better planning for such a big budget film.

It is noteworthy that the budget of Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ is said to be Rs 400 to 450 crores. The security lapse at such a big film event showed that human dignity and security cannot be ignored amid stardom.
