Creating the perfect natural eyebrow look really comes down to finding the right eyebrow pencil. Go too light, and you won't get the definition or fluffy effect you're after; go too dark, and the natural look can quickly disappear. While most pencils come in brunettes and blondes, grey options have traditionally been harder to find. But shoppers embracing their greying locks have called a Jones Road eyebrow pencil a "game changer".

In a review, one shopper said: "I've looked for a grey eyebrow pencil for years, only to find this one is perfect."

The beauty brand, founded by Bobbi Brown, specialises in make-up that delivers a barely-there, casual look, and this brow pencil is no exception. Designed to emphasise natural features, the brand offers a refreshingly wide shade range, not just brown, blonde and red. Alongside the grey pencil, it also comes in dark brunette, brunette, light brunette, ash, and blonde.

The grey pencil retails for £24, and while there are cheaper eyebrow pencils available, shoppers say this one earns its price tag.

Last year, it became a sell-out product and has since secured a 4.6-star customer satisfaction rating, with multiple reviews singling out the grey shade.

"The grey charcoal colour looks natural with my grey hair," said one customer. "Love the colour and how natural it looks! Blends beautifully, and the chunky stick is easier to use on my sparse brow than the thin pencils."

Beyond the colour, the shape and consistency of the pencil have been praised for helping achieve a 'no makeup, makeup look'.

"I was sceptical at first because of the thickness of this pencil," said one shopper. "Boy, was I wrong! I love the way this brow pencil fills in my not-as-full-as-they-used-to-be brows without making them look drawn on. I just sweep it lightly along my brow and fill in where the hair is sparse. This pencil allows me to move my arch outward and still look very natural. I have tried everything out there, and I'm back to Jones Road Brow Pencil for good."

According to the brand, the pencil is designed to add dimension and fullness. They recommend using it in upward strokes and pairing it with a brush spoolie for fluffy-looking brows. It can also be used to fill thinning patches and combined with a brow gel for extra definition.

Shoppers have also highlighted how easy it is to use as part of a quick daily routine. One review said: "The Grey Brow Pencil is AMAZING! For a 56-year-old woman with sparse eyebrows, this is easy to use and looks natural. I use this daily and refuse to leave the house without it on."

However, some shoppers did struggle with the thicker point. One customer said: "I need a thinner point."

Another added: "I like the actual product. The colour is a good match for fair skin. I do not like the sizing of the pencil. It is too short and big around."
