Manchester United will don the logo of the charity (RED) for two matches later this season, it has been confirmed.

Qualcomm Technologies, the owners of the Red Devils' sponsor, Snapdragon, work with the charity. United's sponsorship deal with Snapdragon started back at the start of the 2024-25 season and is scheduled to run through until 2029 after Qualcomm elected to trigger a two-year option in the summer of 2024.

United's sponsors will be replaced by the (RED) logo for the Premier League match against Brentford on April 25, as well as the women team's fixture with Tottenham the following day.

The limited edition (RED) version of the United home shirt will go on sale to supporters with net profits donated to the (RED) Global Fund. The amount raised will then be matched by The Gates Foundation.

United’s Chief Business Officer, Marc Armstrong, said: “Through the power and innovation of our partnership with Snapdragon we are, once again, proud to use the front of the famous Manchester United shirt to raise awareness and tell the story of the vital work undertaken by (RED) to fight against health injustice.

“Snapdragon shares our ambition to use football as a force for good and the second year of this initiative underlines that aspiration, especially at a time when the world faces enormous challenges in supporting the most vulnerable in society.”

Kate Charles, the managing director of (RED), added: “It’s hugely exciting to see Snapdragon and Manchester United come together with (RED) for the second year running, connecting football fans around the globe to this important fight.

“To see the teams – as well as the iconic Old Trafford – decked in (RED) perfectly showcases the power of fan culture to help solve health crises where they hit the hardest.”
