All three subjects—Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics—were of almost equal difficulty, although Mathematics was slightly more challenging, while Physics and Chemistry were comparatively easy to moderate. The paper was quite balanced in terms of question distribution and chapter coverage."

Meanwhile, candidates who appeared in the second shift of the third day of JEE Main 2026 described the difficulty level of the paper as moderate. According to initial reactions from candidates, Mathematics was difficult, followed by Chemistry and Physics, which were considered easier to score well in.

Results

The JEE Main 2026 results are expected in the second week of February; based on last year's trends, it could be any date between February 11th and 14th. Last year, the JEE Main January session was held from January 22nd to 30th, and the results were declared on February 11th.
