Mobile Phone Blast Reasons: Nowadays, mobile phones have become a vital part of our lives. It's almost impossible to stay away from them, even for a moment. Even if we're away from our phones for a short while, it feels as if some part of our body is non-functional. Mobile phones are central to every aspect of daily life, but with so much mobile use, safety concerns are often overlooked, and numerous reports of mobile phone explosions have even resulted in injuries.

According to a PubMed Central report, reports of burn injuries caused by mobile phones exploding while plugged in for charging or while receiving calls are regularly published in newspapers and magazines. The causes of mobile phone explosions are often linked to the use of replaceable batteries and chargers. Mobile phones typically use lithium batteries, which convert chemical energy into electrical energy.

In fact, mobile phone explosions are caused by battery failure, overheating, or the use of a faulty charger. The main reasons for this are using a local charger instead of the original charger, excessive use of the phone while charging, keeping the phone in a hot area, leaving it charging overnight, and dropping the phone, which can damage the battery.

Faulty Charger or Counterfeit Charger
Local or counterfeit chargers cannot provide the correct voltage and current required by the phone, which puts pressure on the battery and can cause it to overheat and explode.

Overheating
Keeping the phone in direct sunlight, in a car, or under a pillow can also cause it to overheat. Playing games or watching videos while charging can also cause this problem, which can trigger thermal runaway and lead to an explosion.

Battery Defect
Defects or manufacturing defects in the internal components of the battery can also cause an explosion.

Excessive Use While Charging
Exerting the phone while charging (gaming, calling) increases heat and increases the risk of explosion.

Battery Swelling
If the battery starts to swell, it's a major sign of a potential explosion, as a chemical reaction is taking place inside.
