India produces more milk than any other country, delivering roughly a quarter of the global supply. Dairy also contributes close to5% to the national economy, touching millions of households every day. However, a different kind of ‘Operation Flood’ is underway as consumer preferences in dairy products shift.
The market for A2 milk, which contains the A2 beta-casein protein instead of the widely available A1 variant, was worth $1.4 Bn in 2024. It is projected to reach$4.3 Bn by 2033, growing at a CAGR of 12.1%, as demand for higher-quality dairy rises. Yet the core question remains: Can Indians trust their daily milk?
The founders of Doodhvale Farms witnessed this first-hand, stemming from adulteration, cold-chain issues and a lack of standardised handling practices. Initially, they set up a small two-cow farm, but soon realised how fast quality could deteriorate without rigorous systems and meticulous monitoring in place.
Simply owning the cattle is not enough. Purity and food safety demand process control at every stage — from collection and testing to pasteurisation, specific treatments, packaging, and even doorstep delivery. That insight led to the foundation of Doodhvale Farms, set up by brothers Aman J Jain, Sanjay Jain, Ishu Jain and Sudhir Jain.
Instead of operating another dairy label, the founding team chose vertical integration, with end-to-end control across livestock, testing, cold chain and delivery. Fresh milk arrives at homes hours after milking, bypassing intermediaries and synthetic preservatives. The point is simple. Families should not be in doubt about whether their milk is clean and healthy. They should know it, verified through testing, tracking and open records.

The brand operates a well-managed cold chain and provides breed-specific feeding to achieve optimal results. With its primary facilities in Sonipat, Haryana, and farms throughout Uttar Pradesh, every batch of milk produced is tested for purity before dispatch.
Its product range spans across natural and nutrient-dense options, including A2 milk from native Sahiwal and Gir cows, A2 buffalo milk with rich cream, a Pro+ line containing milk, curd and paneer with 40% higher natural protein, without synthetic fortification and Vedic A2 ghee prepared via traditional Bilona processes, merging ancestral methods with the latest safety protocols.
Scaling Through TransparencySubscriptions account for 85% of its revenue, with direct ties built through the brand’s mobile app and exclusive brand outlets (EBOs). The brand maintains a net promoter score above 55, a key metric indicating customer satisfaction and loyalty. Its presence on quick commerce platforms like Zepto, Swiggy Instamart and BB Now triggers discovery, while the D2C app ensures long-term retention through reliable service.
Building A Nationwide Model For Verified DairyBy November 2025 (FY26 YTD), Doodhvale had logged ₹41.5 Cr and is targeting ₹65 Cr for the full year.
Throughout 2026, Doodhvale Farms plans to strengthen its farm-to-home cold chain and push its Pro+ portfolio. The near-term challenge is coping with rapid geographic growth while retaining its quality benchmarks that drove early traction.
In the long run, it aims to emerge as India’s most trusted fresh dairy brand. Its roadmap includes building a nationwide network of ethical dairy operations and expanding beyond milk to enter ‘daily essentials’. The ultimate goal is to establish a national benchmark to rebuild consumer trust in India’s dairy staples.
