New Delhi: Tata Motors have startted accepting the booking for the Punch EV facelift. Customers can book the electric micro SUV through the online website or by visiting their nearest dealership. The token amount for the booking has been set at Rs 21,000. The deliveries of the Punch EV facelift should start by the end of next month, and can likely be able to check out the car across the Tata showrooms.

Tata have priced the Punch EV between Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go up to Rs 12.59 lakh, with both prices being introductory. Tata Motors are also going to offer the Punch EV facelift with BaaS or Battery-as-a-Service. In this service, the ex-showroom price will go down to Rs 9.49 lakh, with a battery EMI of Rs 2.6 per km.

Tata Punch EV battery pack and warranty

Tata Motors are offering the Punch EV facelift with two battery packs: a 30 kWh and a 40 kWh. The 40 kWh battery has an ARAI range of 4km km. On the smaller battery, Tata is giving a warranty of 8 years or 1.6 lakh km, whereas with the bigger one, you get unlimited kilometres and a lifetime warranty. It must be noted that the warranty is only applicable for private registrations and first owners. 

The vehicle itself will come with a 3-year warranty or 1.25 lakh km. The electric motor is covered under warranty for about 8 years and 1.6 lakh km.
