Stand-up comedian and Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Vikram Arul Vidyapathi, popularly known as Vikkals Vikram , is all set to play the lead in an upcoming romcom titled Light Weight , Baby! , directed by KC Guru . Interestingly, his character in the film will be that of a comic! “I’m already a stand-up comedian, so it was relatable. The psyche of the character is explained through his comedy. He is not a macho hero but a normal, sweet guy with very little ego,” he shares.
Vikram will also be writing the dialogues for the film, which will be a love story between this aspiring stand-up comedian and a woman, who is a bodybuilder.
The second runner-up on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9 , the comic credits the reality show for his “exponential reach”. “Before the show, everyone saw me mainly as a content creator or a funny guy. But now, they have started looking at me as a member of their family,” he states.
