The incident of uproar took place at Suzabad Dharamshala in Janakganj police station area of Gwalior city.
In fact, a sudden woman who came to the wedding alleged that the person who became a groom is her husband and the case was going on in the family court, but she is getting married without divorce. On seeing this, the uproar increased so much that the girl side considered it right to call the police, after which the woman was pacified.
Upendra Singh Parihar's wedding ceremony was going on with great pomp on Sunday night (2 February). Meanwhile, a woman named Neha Parihar reaches the police station and pleads for help from the police and says that Upendra is her husband and both have not been divorced yet, in such a situation, she is getting married. In this case, the police, taking some action, already reached the wedding ceremony and made a ruckus to stop the marriage there.
Police reached the spot after receiving information and talked to the woman who was creating a ruckus. Neha said that she was married to Upendra on 25 November 2012, but due to mutual quarrels and estrangement, the case was going on in the family court. Neha alleged that she and Upendra have not been divorced yet, so how can she marry another.
After hearing Neha's whole point, the police interacted with Upendra, the groom. Upendra told that he was divorced on 16 October 2024. Upendra also showed divorce documents. Seeing the divorce papers, the police understood the whole matter. During this time, after seeing the documents, the woman's attitude became loose and she said that she has not been informed about divorce by the court. After this, the police returned the woman from there.
