Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s ChatGPT will face off against Elon Musk’s xAI’s most sophisticated Grok 3 AI Chatbot. Musk said that Grok 3 was more competent than Grok 2 during its demonstration. Grok 3 will launch today, with X Premium Plus members being the first to get access to it.
“All you need to know to understand which company will win a technology competition is to look at the first and second derivatives of the rate of innovation,” Musk posted on X.
Subscribers who want early access may sign up for Premium Plus. Super Grok, a new membership package, is also being introduced for loyal customers who want the newest features and first access to updates. Both the Grok app and the recently launched grok.com website will support this concept.
During the debut of the Grok 3 live demo, the xAI team said, “We evaluated Grok 3 in three different categories: general mathematical reasoning, general knowledge about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), and then also computer coding.”
According to xAI researchers, Grok 3 performs much better than previous AI models. Even Grok 3 Mini, its tiniest variant, is a top competitor.
“At xAI, we think that producing the finest AI requires more than just having the best pre-training model. The finest AI must have human-like thought processes. Due to our ongoing efforts to enhance the model, Grok 3 users may see changes almost every day. According to them, you could even see improvements in as little as 24 hours.
“You must go through every option, evaluate yourself, confirm it, go back, and start from the beginning. This is an essential ability. We think that we may enhance the reasoning skills of the best pre-trained model by using reinforcement learning to further train it. According to the xAI team, this enables the model to grow and improve dramatically both during training and testing.
