Janhvi Kapoor might star opposite Allu Arjun in Atlee's next
18 Feb 2025

After the success of Pushpa 2, actor Allu Arjun is said to be reportedly preparing for his upcoming project with director Atlee.

Originally, Arjun was supposed to work with filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, but he has now turned his attention to Atlee's next due to unexpected delays.

The film is expected to be an action-packed commercial spectacle.

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that actor Janhvi Kapoor could be the female lead in this project.

Kapoor's potential role and Telugu cinema connection
Casting buzz

Kapoor is also in the limelight as a frontrunner for the female lead in Atlee's film. Her work in the Chuttamalle track in Jr NTR's Devara has made her a familiar face among Telugu audiences.

She is also lined up for a role in Ram Charan's forthcoming project helmed by Buchi Babu Sana. This makes her a strong candidate for the role opposite Arjun in his next commercial entertainer.

Speculation about Kapoor's possible role in Atlee's film gained traction after she was seen at a birthday party for Atlee's wife, Priya.

The bash was attended by several young Bollywood stars including her sister, Khushi Kapoor, and actor Veer Pahariya, among others.

This public appearance has only added more fuel to the rumors of her possible involvement in the upcoming project with Arjun and Atlee.

Atlee's potential collaboration with Salman Khan
Director's plans

Apart from his project with Arjun, Atlee is also said to be in talks with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for an action film.

The high-budget film, tentatively titled A6, is likely to see Khan opposite screen legend Rajinikanth.

There were reports of the tentpole getting shelved because of its massive budget, but nothing concrete has come up.
