National Board of Medical Examination i.e. NBEMS will start the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) MDS 2025 from today i.e. 18 February. The registration link will be activated after 3 pm, after which eligible and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of NBEMS natboard.edu.in. The last date to apply has been fixed as 10 March 2025 (till 11:55 pm).
The application correction window for NEET MDS will be open from 14 March to 17 March 2025. Candidates should note, that the concerned candidates will be informed about the errors related to the uploaded photo, signature, and thumb impression, and can make final corrections from 27 March 2025 to 31 March 2025.
NEET MDS 2025 entrance exam will be held on 19 April 2025 from 2 pm to 5 pm and its results will be released by 19 May 2025. This exam is conducted to do a Masters in Dental Surgery. Under this, admission is given in various MDS courses.
NEET MDS 2025 Application Fees: What is the application fee?
Candidates applying for NEET MDS 2025 will have to pay an online examination fee of Rs 3,500 (for General, OBC, and EWS categories) and Rs 2,500 for SC, ST, and PWD category candidates. The examination fee can be paid only through credit card/debit card/UPI.
NEET MDS 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What are the eligibility criteria?
For admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, candidates must possess a Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree recognized by a University or Institute in India and must be registered with the State Dental Council. Apart from this, they must also have completed a one-year compulsory rotary internship in a recognized dental college.
Candidates who have undergone compulsory rotary internship/practical training of 12 months after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS or a foreign dental degree recognized by the Government of India/DCI) and complete it by 31 March 2025 can appear in the examination but will not be eligible for admission unless they complete the compulsory rotary internship and obtain provisional or permanent registration on or before 31 March 2025.
Candidates found ineligible at any stage of NEET MDS 2025 will not be allowed to appear in the examination and/or counseling.
Candidates who have completed an internship after 31 March 2025 or who do not have a qualification recognized under the Dentists Act, their request to appear in NEET MDS 2025 will be rejected.
NEET MDS 2025 Exam Pattern: What is the exam pattern?
NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted on 19 April 2025 in a single day and in a single shift in computer-based mode. This exam will be in multiple choice question (MCQ) based mode. The exam consists of 240 multiple choice questions and each question has only 4 options. Candidates have to choose the correct answer. This exam will be of total 3 hours and there will also be negative marking i.e. one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
