Karun Nair completes 8,000 runs in First-Class cricket: Key stats

Vidarbha batter Karun Nair has achieved a milestone of 8,000 runs in First-Class cricket.

Nair attained the feat with his 10th run on Day 1 of the Ranji Trophy 2024/25 final against Kerala being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur.

Nair walked in when his side was 24/3 in the 13th over. He has steadied Vidarbha's innings alongside Danish Malewar.

As per ESPNcricinfo, playing his 114th FC match, Nair has gone past 8,000 runs in FC cricket at an average close to 49.

He owns 22 tons and 35 fifties. Notably, Nair is closing in on 1,000 fours in FC cricket.

He came into this contest with 994 fours.

Playing his 9th match in Ranji this season, Nair currently owns 650-plus runs.
