History beckons at the 2025 when it roars into action on Tuesday March 11.
Four days of fantastic sport will see the best national hunt horses from Britain and Ireland do battle. And if Galopin Des Champs wins the for the third time on the final day, he will go down in history by becoming just the fifth horse to achieve such a feat following Golden Miller, Cottage Rake, Arkle and Best Mate.
His trainer has trained a remarkable 103 winners and he will send an incredible battalion of equine talent across the Irish Sea.

Fellow Irish trainers and Henry De Bromhead also field strong teams while leading jockey Rachael Blackmore will attempt to add to her enviable record at the Festival.
But while the Irish have dominated recent Cheltenham Festivals, there is a growing feeling that the Brits can enjoy a resurgence this year. Constitution Hill will fly the flag in the Champion Hurdle and will attempt to regain his crown in a race he won in 2023 before having to pull out 12 months ago through injury.
Dan Skelton – who is currently the leading British trainer – also has a formidable team which includes The New Lion, Protektorat and L’Eau Du Sud.
