Lucknow. The state government has issued a new advisory in view of the increase in cases of Kornavirus infection in some districts in Uttar Pradesh. This advisory is implemented for all district level, block level hospitals and medical institutions, aimed at timely controlling the wave of potential infection.

Emphasis on health services preparation

According to the advisory, the availability of all the necessary medicines for the treatment of corona patients has been asked to ensure. Along with this, instructions have also been given to strengthen arrangements like PPE Kit, Corona Investigation Facilitation, Isolation Beds, Medical Oxygen, ICU and ventilator. Instructions have also been issued to investigate the functioning of the oxygen plant in state hospitals and to conduct mock drills, so that quick response can be given in an emergency.

Strictness of investigation and monitoring

The advisory also states that all the patients of the Caivary Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) and 5% of the patients of Influenza Like Illness (ILI) should be investigated. Additionally, instructions have been instructed to send samples of patients whose RT-PCR examination falls less than CT Value 25 for genome sequencing. It aims to identify new variants and prevent infection.

Community vigilance and safety measures

In the advisory, the district survival units have also been asked to remain active, so that the infected infected can be monitored better. Instructions have been given to ensure compulsory use of masks and sanitizers in districts where there are more number of Korona cases.

Government’s appeal: Be cautious, cooperate

The state government has appealed to the citizens to avoid any kind of negligence, follow the Kovid protocol and get the symptoms checked immediately. This advisory is a precautionary step so that the infection can be prevented before spreading.
