As the festive season is getting closer in India, the automobile sector, especially the electric vehicle (EV) segment, has intensified. This time the center of discussion has become the center of Vietnam’s leading auto company Vinfast, which is a unit of Vingroup. Recently, a visit to Vinfast’s state -of -the -art production plant located in High Foard, Vietnam proves that it is not a small or superficial entry, but a launching under a serious and long -term strategy.


VF6 and VF7 electric SUV will be launched on Diwali


Vinfast Asia’s CEO has confirmed in a special conversation with TV9 India that VF6 and VF7 will be the company’s first two products in India, whose launching is going to be Diwali. These electric SUV models are directly to compete with Hyundai Creta and the upcoming Tata Curvv.


Special focus on local construction


The company is planning to prepare a complete EV ecosystem not only in India but not only selling vehicles. For this, work is being done with units like Vingreen and GSM (Green-Smart-Mobility). Also, Vinfast’s manufacturing unit is going to start in India soon, which will promote localization.


Premium features and strong safety


Customers in VF6 and VF7 will get high-end features like:



  • 12.9 inch infotainment screen

  • Heads-up display

  • Dual-tone dashboard

  • Heated and ventilated front seats

  • It has 7 airbags and advanced features like Level-2 Adas for safety.


Price and warranty plans


According to the company spokesperson, along with launching, attractive financeing schemes and warranty options will also be offered. It is expected that the price of these electric SUVs can be between 20 and 25 lakh rupees in India.

Vinfast has a complete plan and strategy to establish itself in India’s EV market. Looking at the roadmap till 2028, it is clear that it would not be possible to ignore Vinfast now. This brand from this Diwali, Vietnam is going to be the biggest EV explosion in India.
