Sanju Samson broke all records in auction, four times more money from the most expensive player

Kochi Blue Tigers bought Sanju Samson for Rs 26.8 lakh in the Kerala Cricket League auction. With this, Sanju has become the most expensive player in the history of the League. Sanju Samson broke the previous record by a big margin. The previous record was worth Rs 7.4 lakhs, which Trivandrum Royals paid for MS Akhil. 30 -year -old Samson did not play in the first season of the tournament last year.




Samson, who played only nine matches in the IPL due to injury, will now expect a much awaited match practice in KCL. This season, he has scored 285 runs in the IPL at a strike rate of 140.39, including only one half -century.




The season will start from 22 August




The second season of the Kerala Cricket League will begin on 22 August. The title match will be played on 7 September. Six franchisees participating in the T20 league include Kollam Seller, Calicut Globstars, Elappi Reples, Kochi Blue Tigers, Thrissur Titans and Trivandrum Royals. There were 114 players in the inaugural session, who were selected from 168 players participating in the auction. Each franchise spent an average of Rs 40 lakh in the auction. Cellar, led by Kerala captain Sachin Baby, won the inaugural title by defeating Globastars.
