Nicolas Cozza (26) is set for a third consecutive loan spell at FC Nantes, according to a report from The team.

Cozza initially joined Canaries on a short-term loan two seasons ago before spending the entirety of the last campaign with the Ligue 1 side. With the club securing their Ligue 1 status once again last season, Cozza is now set to return once more on a season-long loan. Once again, the deal will not include a permanent option, whilst parent club Wolfsburg will pay a portion of the Frenchman’s salary.

The defender was motivated to work under new manager Luís Castro, who has replaced Antoine Kombouaré in the dugout. He therefore made the choice to join Nantes, despite interest from England and from Greece.

Cozza, whose contract with Wolfsburg runs until the summer of 2027, is expected at Nantes’ training ground on Monday. He will be Canaries third summer signing, after the arrivals of Alexis Mirbach and Uros Radakovic.
