Indian Women Cricket Achievement. The Indian women’s cricket team has created a new history on the land of England. India won a bilateral T20 series in England for the first time by winning 3–2 in the 5-match T20 International series. This victory is not only to increase the confidence of Team India, but also shows India’s growing power in women’s cricket.

However, the last match of the series was very exciting, in which India suffered defeat on the last ball. The Indian team, batting first, had set a target of 168 runs in front of England. The England team chased the target and won the final ball, but before that India had made an unbeatable lead in the series.

Team India’s performance

From the beginning of the series, Indian players showed a strong game. While in batting, Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma made an aggressive start, Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma took over the middle order and competed with England bowlers. In bowling, Renuka Thakur, Rajeshwari Gaikwad and Pooja Vastrakar overturned the match with wickets at regular intervals.

First time in history

This is the first time India won a T20 series by winning two or more matches in England. Earlier, India has been struggling on most occasions in England, but this time the team fought with great restraint and aggression in their favor.
