Prime Minister Kisan Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 20th installment of Prime Minister Kisan Sumpyan Fund Yojana from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi on August 2. Under this scheme, 9.7 crore farmers across the country will be paid Rs 20,500 crore. The main direct benefit of the government was introduced in 2019. Under this scheme, Rs 3.69 lakh crore has been placed directly in the farmers’ accounts with 19 installments. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture on Tuesday, the Ministry of Agriculture said, “The next installment of PM-Kisan will be released on August 2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the installment and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the installment during a special plan organized in Varanasi in his parliamentary constituency. Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan held a product meeting at Krishi Bhavan in New Delhi to review the preparations for the project. At this meeting, Agriculture Secretary Devesh Chaturvedi and Director of the Indian Agricultural Research Council, Dr. M.L. Jat and other senior officials of the Ministry of Agriculture were present. This fund will be directly inserted into the farmers’ accounts, and under the Prime Minister-Kisan Yoja, eligible farmers receive three equal installments of Rs. The purpose of this project is to provide financial assistance to small and partially farming families that hold farms. Farmers must complete their E-GYC process to achieve the 20th installment. Also, it should be ensured that their Aadhaar is linked to their bank account and maintaining the right land records. The project has emerged as one of the government’s major welfare efforts and provides an important financial assistance to agricultural families in rural India.
