During the festive season, the demand for sweets in the markets increases. People want to please their loved ones with sweets on special occasions. But at this time the possibility of adulteration of sweets in the market is also very high. Especially during festivals like Rakshabandhan, quality is compromised by sweets sellers in the race to earn more profits. So if you want to feed your brother something special and safe, then homemade cream rabri can be a great option.
Malai rabri is very wonderful in taste and it is not very difficult to make it. Homemade rabri is not only good in taste but it is also safe in terms of health. It contains nutrients like milk, saffron, dry fruits and cardamom, which makes it even more nutritious.
1 liter full cream milk, half cup sugar, 12 saffron threads, half a teaspoon of cardamom powder, 10 chopped almonds, 8 pistachios, 10 cashews, and 1 teaspoon rose water.
First of all, boil the milk on medium heat in a thick utensil. Keep stirring it continuously to protect milk from burning. As soon as the milk starts boiling, reduce the heat and cook it till it thickens. Keep the cream made in between. When the milk remains half, add saffron threads, cardamom powder, sugar and half dry fruits. Cook it for 5 minutes and turn off the gas. Now add rose water and mix well. After cooling, take it out in the serving bowl and decorate it with the rest of the dry fruits.
Keep this Rakshabandhan away from adulterated sweets and sweeten his mouth with this delicious cream rabri.
