Manchester United host Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday, as Ruben Amorim's side search for their first win of the season. The Red Devils will still be licking their wounds after suffering a shock Carabao Cup exit at League Two Grimsby Town just three days earlier.

Three points could propel United to as high as fourth in the Premier League table, heading into the international break with a win, a draw and a defeat. Another poor result would intensify the scrutiny on Amorim's position ahead of scheduled crunch talks with the hierarchy in the next two weeks.

Man Utd predicted XI vs Burnley

Goalkeeper - Bayindir

Andre Onana would be fortunate to wear a United shirt again after his latest disaster against Grimsby.

Altay Bayindir has started the first two Premier League games of the season and should be in goal again when Burnley visit M16.

Defence - Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw

Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw should continue as Amorim's first-choice back three after starting against Arsenal and Fulham.

Yoro and Shaw didn't travel to Grimsby, so they should be nice and fresh after a rest. De Ligt will likely reclaim his starting spot from Harry Maguire.

Midfielder - Amad, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dorgu

United will expect to dominate the ball in a home match against Burnley, so there should be plenty of opportunity for Amad to get forward and contribute to attacks.

Patrick Dorgu appears to be untouchable on the left side, but he has plenty to prove if he is to continue starting games so regularly.

Manuel Ugarte looks well below the standard required, so expect Casemiro to come back into the team in his place.

Bruno Fernandes will regain his starting spot after his substitute appearance in midweek. Penny for Kobbie Mainoo's thoughts...

Attack - Mbeumo, Mount, Cunha

Bryan Mbeumo scored his first United goal against Grimsby before hitting the crossbar from the penalty spot to confirm one of the club's worst-ever defeats.

Mason Mount has been one of the few positives for the Red Devils in the early stages of the season, so expect the No. 7 to replace Benjamin Sesko in the team.

Matheus Cunha was the other United player to miss in the penalty shoot-out, but he will start a fourth consecutive game here.
