The Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge actor’s former bodyguard opened up about the kind of life he’s lived, with private jets and the most luxurious hotels being provided to him.

Shah Rukh Khan’s former bodyguard, Yaseen, spoke to Hindi Rush about his past with the actor and how he was given everything luxurious while he was working for the actor. If SRK was living somewhere, he was also living in the same hotel, travelling in the same private planes and more.

“My life was whatever Shah Rukh sir’s life was. I used to travel around the globe in private planes, stay in five star hotels, and had eight passports completely stamped. When I joined Shah Rukh sir, I saw a plane for the first time.”

Yaseen worked with the actor for an entire decade but left in 2011 due to personal reasons. SRK had been very supportive of his decisions and even kept the door open in case he ever wanted to work with the actor again.

He started his own security company in 2015, YK PROSEC, which looked after VIPs like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, and more.

Shah Rukh Khan Never Sidelined His Family

Having worked with Shah Rukh Khan for ten years, Yaseen got a close look as to how the actor was in his professional life, but especially his personal life. He never once sidelined his family, prioritising them no matter how tired he got.

“He’d always attend their sports programmes. He’d drop them to school whenever he was in town, irrespective of how exhausted he was. The best thing about him was that even when he was shooting in the US, he’d study on his own and then teach his children online for their exams… In my 10 years, I’d never seen him tell Gauri bhabhi, ‘I’m tired, I won’t come.’ He’s always ready for family.”

Work came and went, but that didn’t mean he could just put his family as a second priority rather than the first. He attended all events and functions, no matter how busy he was.
