# Traditional Sattu Drink
Ingredients
2 tbsp sattu
1 glass cold water
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
¼ tsp black salt (or regular salt)
1–2 tsp lemon juice
Finely chopped onion (optional)
Chopped green chili (optional)
Fresh coriander leaves
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
Add sattu to a glass or bowl.
Pour in a little water and mix well to avoid lumps.
Add remaining water and stir thoroughly.
Mix in cumin powder, salt, and lemon juice.
Add onions, chili, and coriander if you like a spicy kick.
Serve chilled.
This version is super cooling and perfect for hot weather.
# Sweet Sattu Drink
Ingredients
2 tbsp sattu
1 glass cold water or milk
1–2 tbsp jaggery (or sugar)
A pinch of cardamom powder
Ice cubes
Instructions
Mix sattu with a little water to form a smooth paste.
Add remaining liquid and stir well.
Add jaggery and cardamom powder.
Mix until fully dissolved.
Serve cold.
