The actor appealed to the people to view this message not from the perspective of politics, but from the perspective of national interest and wisdom.
Starting the video, Sunil Lahiri says, “Greetings friends. In the last few days, the Prime Minister had asked the countrymen to reduce expenditure on some things. Some people took it positively, while some people took it negatively.”
Sunil Lahiri said that before understanding anything, one must see the purpose behind it. I just want to ask one question to those who are opposing the Prime Minister’s statement, when there is a big crisis in any house, don’t people cut down their expenses?
In the video, Sunil Lahiri said, “The Prime Minister’s appeal has been made keeping in mind the interest of the country. There may be some kind of disturbance in the coming times. Let us find a solution for it today itself.” Giving the example of a proverb, the actor said that a well is not dug after a fire, but preparations are made in advance.
Sunil Lahiri also mentioned the country’s economic condition and foreign dependence in the video. He said, “If we reduce unnecessary expenditure on fuel, gold and silver and those things for which India has to depend on other countries, then the country can save a lot of money.”
He said that a lot of India’s money and dollars go to foreign countries. In such a situation, if people spend as per need and develop the habit of saving, then both the country and the common people will benefit from it.
At the end of the video the actor appealed to people to think about this. He said that if the country’s money is saved and people save, then only the countrymen will ultimately benefit from it. Jai Shri Ram.
