IPL 2026 GT vs RR Qualifier-2: Gujarat Titans have booked their ticket for the final of IPL 2026. In the Qualifier-2 match played in Mullanpur, Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets and made their place in the final. Gujarat Titans achieved the target of 215 runs given by Rajasthan Royals by losing only 3 wickets with 8 balls remaining. This is the most successful run chase in IPL playoff/knockout history. Shubman Gill scored a brilliant century for Gujarat. While Sai Sudarshan scored fifty.
Captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan started the innings of Gujarat Titans to chase the target of 215 runs given by Rajasthan Royals. Both the openers gave a great start to the team. Although Sai Sudarshan also missed a catch, but he did not look back. There was a record partnership of 167 runs for the first wicket between Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan. This is the biggest partnership in IPL Qualifier-2 history. This partnership had decided the victory of Gujarat Titans.

After this, captain Shubman Gill was out after scoring a brilliant century. Jofra Archer sent him to the pavilion. Gill played an inning of 104 runs in 53 balls, which included 15 fours and 3 sixes. This was Gill’s fifth century. After this Washington Sundar was out after scoring 16 runs. Then Rahul Tewatia gave a spectacular victory to Gujarat Titans by scoring unbeaten 17 runs on 9 balls.
Gujarat Titans has become the second team to reach the final of IPL 2026. Now Gujarat Titans will face defending champion Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB had defeated Gujarat Titans badly in Qualifier-1. Now Gujarat team would like to take revenge from RCB. Whereas RCB team would like to win the second consecutive title. Now it will be interesting to see which team wins the trophy on 31st May.
After winning the toss and batting first, Rajasthan Royals scored 214 runs for 6 wickets. Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a brilliant inning of 96 runs in 47 balls with the help of 8 fours and 7 sixes. Ravindra Jadeja scored 45 not out. Whereas Devon Ferreira had played an unbeaten inning of 38 runs in just 11 balls in the last match.
