But when the couple got the DNA test done as the girls did not match any member of the family, they were shocked to see the report. The lab report revealed that the biological match of both the girls was neither with their mother nor with their father. After this shocking revelation, the victim couple has been wandering in search of their real children for the last five months.
According to the victim's father Rahul, he had contacted a very renowned IVF center located in Greater Kailash, Delhi in December 2024 for the treatment of his wife. At the time of starting the treatment, the hospital management and doctors had given him full assurance that only his sperm and his wife's eggs would be used in this entire medical procedure. After the completion of the IVF process, when the time for delivery came, the doctors of the same IVF center advised her to get admitted to another renowned private hospital in Dwarka for delivery. The woman was admitted there as per the doctors' advice and initially everything seemed completely normal.
Girls were born in January 2026, their appearance raised deep suspicion
In January 2026, the woman gave birth to twin daughters, which brought happiness to the entire family. But as soon as the father and other family members looked carefully at the girls' faces, they noticed something strange. The faces of the girls did not match those of their parents or any of the family members. To clear this deep doubt, the couple decided to get DNA tests done from two different authorized labs. When the reports of both the investigations came, he reportedly made a claim which created a stir in the medical world. The DNA of the girls matched 0% with their parents, which directly meant that the girls were not their biological children.
Hospitals shrugged it off, instead blamed the couple
As soon as this dreadful truth came to light, the victim Rahul immediately contacted the IVF center and the private hospital in Dwarka where the children were born. But instead of getting justice, the couple was deeply disappointed. The victim alleges that instead of admitting their mistake or investigating, both the renowned hospitals started making many baseless allegations against the victim couple. After this, in view of the seriousness of the matter, the victim's family has lodged a written complaint with the senior officials of many concerned departments including the Union Health Ministry, Prime Minister's Office (PMO), National Commission for Women (NCW) and demanded strict action.
FIR registered on the orders of Saket court
While narrating his pain, the victim father said that he already has two daughters and he loves children very much. Since there was no DNA match, he has been searching from one hospital to another for the last five months so that he can get his real child. He alleges that the police did not even register his FIR for the first three months of the complaint. After this, he approached the Saket court for justice, after which, on the strict stand and orders of the court, the police registered a case under relevant sections.
Rahul alleges that either the embryo has been changed in the IVF lab or his child has been swapped in the hospital immediately after delivery. He has also made an emotional appeal by releasing a video on social media. He said that all the couples whose children were born in that renowned hospital in January 2026 should get their children's DNA test done once. The victim's family demands that there should be a high level investigation into this entire racket or negligence at every level so that the truth can come out.
