Everyone wants to have a beautiful and attractive body shape, but sometimes due to weight gain or lack of physical activity, stubborn fat starts accumulating on some parts of the body. The most common problem among these is the fat hanging under the arms, due to which the hands start looking completely flabby. Due to this problem, women and men feel hesitant in wearing sleeveless or fitting clothes of their choice. If you are also troubled by this flabbiness, then you do not need to take an expensive gym subscription. You can give a slim, attractive and toned look to your arms with the help of some very effective exercises without any weight in a corner of the house.
The back part of the arms is called triceps and most of the flabbiness is visible in this part. To tighten it, ‘Chair Dips’ is considered to be the best and effective bodyweight exercise. To do this you will just need a strong chair or sofa kept in the house. Rest your hands on the edge of the chair and extend your legs forward. Now bend your elbows and bring your hips down towards the ground and then lift the body up with the strength of your arms. By doing 3 sets of 12 to 15 wraps daily, the triceps muscles tighten rapidly and the hanging fat starts disappearing.
If you are not comfortable doing traditional push-ups, then you can start by doing ‘Wall Push-ups’ i.e. push-ups with the support of the wall. For this, stand at a distance of about two feet from the wall and place both your hands on the wall at shoulder width. Now bend your elbows and bring your chest closer to the wall and then push and come back to the old position. As your strength increases, you can also do Knee Push-ups while kneeling on the floor. This exercise not only slims your arms, but also provides a great tone to your shoulders and chest area.
This is an exercise that you can easily do while watching TV or even while sitting in bed after waking up in the morning. To do Arm Circles, extend both your hands straight out parallel to the shoulders. Now, without bending your arms, rotate them first clockwise and then anti-clockwise in small circles. Do this continuously for 1 minute in both directions and repeat it for at least 3 to 4 rounds. This simple looking workout increases blood circulation in your arms and proves to be very helpful in burning the fat cells stored there.
If you want to slim your arms as well as reduce your belly fat, then include ‘Plank Taps’ in your daily routine. For this, first of all come in a normal plank position, where your entire weight will be on your palms and toes. Now keeping your body stable, touch the left shoulder with the right hand, and then touch the right shoulder with the left hand. During this period your core muscles should remain fully engaged. This exercise puts tremendous pressure on your arms, due to which your hands start becoming muscular and in shape very quickly.
