Rahul Dravid Son cricket debut: Another cricketer’s son has entered Indian cricket. Anvay Dravid, younger son of veteran cricketer and former Indian captain Rahul Dravid, has been selected in Team India’s Under-19 ODI team. This team will go on Sri Lanka tour in July. Anvay is a 17 year old wicketkeeper-batsman. He has consistently performed well in domestic cricket. This is his reward.

The board announced

BCCI’s Junior Selection Committee, led by Sharath Sridharan, on Thursday announced the ODI and multi-day teams for the Sri Lanka tour. The board gave this information on its official website. According to the post, the Junior Cricket Committee has selected the India Men’s Under-19 team for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.

Three one-day and two multi-day matches

Three one-day and two multi-day matches will be played in this tour. The first match of the tour will be held on July 4, 2026 in Hambantota, Sri Lanka. Three ODI matches and two multi-day matches will be played in the tour. Yashvardhan Singh Chauhan has been made the captain for the match. Lakshya Raichandani has been given the responsibility of vice-captain.

Competition will be held from 4th July

The first ODI match of Sri Lanka tour will be played on July 4 in Hambantota at 10 am. The second ODI will be played on July 6 at 10 am in Hambantota and the third ODI will be played on July 9 at 10 am in Hambantota. Similarly, the first multi-day match will be played on 13–16 July at 10 am in Galle and the second multi-day match will be played on 20–23 July at 10 am in Colombo.
