Many historic decisions to youth and employment have been taken in the important cabinet meeting chaired by Deputy Chief Minister cum Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. The main objective of these latest decisions of the government is to make the recruitment processes going on in the state very simple, fast and completely transparent.

The most important thing about this cabinet meeting was that the government has made huge and shocking changes in the mandatory age limit for some important posts and also in the old selection process, due to which the way has been cleared for more and more youth to get jobs.

Bumper relief in age condition in stenographer recruitment

A major decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting regarding the upcoming recruitment to the posts of stenographer. The government has directly reduced the minimum age limit of candidates for these posts from 21 years to 18 years. With this step of the government, now those youth who were not able to fill the form due to their young age will also get a chance to participate in this recruitment. Along with this, after getting the job, the probation period for the selected candidates has also been reduced as compared to earlier, due to which the youth will now be able to get permanent appointment very quickly and on time.

Major improvement in the old rules of clerk recruitment

The government has also taken an important step regarding appointments to the posts of clerks in different government departments of the state. The Cabinet has taken a big decision to make a new and modern service manual for clerk posts. After the implementation of this new rule, the recruitment process of clerks in various departments of the state will now be completed in a uniform, well-organized and clean manner, which will also improve the coordination between the departments.

Research assistant recruitment interview completely over, command given to new commission

The biggest and revolutionary change for the youth has been seen in the recruitment process for the posts of Research Assistant. Earlier, interview used to play a big role for selection in this recruitment and 100 marks were fixed for it, but the Samrat Cabinet has now completely abolished this 100 mark interview. Apart from this, it has now been decided to hand over the responsibility of conducting this entire recruitment process to a new commission, so that the selection process can be conducted in a completely fair and transparent manner without any source-recommendation.

New post approved for Patna High Court, administrative work will gain momentum

Bihar government has also taken steps to further strengthen the administrative work to the justice system. With a view to modernize and strengthen the infrastructure section of Patna High Court, the Cabinet has approved a brand new post. On this new post, ‘Officer on Special Duty’ (OSD) will be directly appointed, due to which all the work to the administrative and infrastructure of the court will get double the speed as before.
