Monsoon Update: After the initial onset of monsoon in many parts of the country, people were expecting good rains, but at present the pace of monsoon seems to be slowing down a bit. Due to reduced rainfall activities in many states, humidity and heat have once again increased the problems of the people. According to the Meteorological Department, some areas may see light to moderate rain for the next few days, while many areas will continue to wait for the monsoon to become active again.
According to meteorologists, the speed of monsoon depends on many atmospheric conditions. Decrease in intensity of sea winds, weakening of pressure system and lack of favorable weather systems can affect the speed of monsoon. Due to this reason, the rainfall process has weakened in some states.
Due to decrease in rain, the day temperature is increasing. Especially in many areas of North India, Central India and Eastern India, the sultry heat is troubling people. People are not getting relief due to high humidity even in the morning and evening.
The slow pace of monsoon may also affect agricultural activities. The time of sowing of Kharif crops is going on and farmers require adequate rain. If there is a shortage of rain for a long time then farming work may be affected. However, experts say that there is no need to panic at the moment and rain activities may increase again in the coming days.
According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, the monsoon may get strengthened again due to the influence of new weather systems forming in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. After this, good rains are expected in many parts of Eastern, Central and North India.
In the next few days, the weather patterns may remain different in different parts of the country. Light rain may be seen at some places and movement of clouds may be seen at other places. In areas where there has been less rainfall at present, people may have to face heat and humidity for a few more days.
Experts have advised people to drink enough water to protect themselves from heat and humidity, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and keep an eye on the latest updates from the weather department. Farmers have also been advised to plan agricultural operations according to the local weather forecast.
The pace of monsoon has definitely slowed down at the moment, but meteorologists believe that this could be a temporary situation. Rain activities are expected to increase in the coming days, which can provide relief to people from the heat and benefit to farmers.
