New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave his views in a press conference on Wednesday on the issue of mixing ethanol in petrol. Kejriwal, who has been raising the issue of mixing ethanol in petrol for the last few days, said that he has written a letter to 29 vehicle manufacturing companies. Asking to clarify the situation regarding mixing of ethanol in petrol. What is he saying in this matter?
Kejriwal further said, the owner manual of the companies says that more than 10 percent ethanol cannot be mixed in petrol used in vehicles manufactured before 2023. The government is engaged in wrongdoing without considering the public interest and this is causing huge damage to people’s vehicles.
‘I will go to the showroom tomorrow and…’
He said that the government is adamant and is not ready to understand what is the problem of the people. Kejriwal talked about going among the public regarding this issue. Said that tomorrow he will go to some vehicle showrooms and talk to the showroom owners on this matter.
He further said that he will talk to auto mechanics and people to see what they think about it. He again said that it is not right to impose this on the public and the government should reconsider it.
