Meerut. Today, on Monday morning, July 13, a 50-year-old married woman died under suspicious circumstances in Shivapuram of Tipinagar police station area. The relatives of the deceased have accused him of murder and destruction of evidence. Under this allegation, the police reached the cremation ground and stopped the last rites and sent the body for post-mortem. In this case, the husband and son of the deceased are currently being detained and interrogated.

Let us tell you that the relatives of the deceased had taken the body for cremation to Muktidham located in Nai Basti. Meanwhile, police received information that a woman was murdered by stabbing her neck with a sharp weapon and cremated secretly.

Tipinagar police station reached the spot as soon as the information was received and took the body into their custody before placing it on the pyre. After this, with the help of the forensic team, evidence is being collected from the incident site and the house of the deceased. Besides, the house has also been sealed. Taking serious note of this matter, CO ‘Brahmapuri Soumya Asthana’ also reached the spot and informed about the incident. Police say that at first glance this case appears suspicious. Further action in this case will be taken on the basis of post mortem report, forensic investigation and inquiry. If murder is confirmed then strict action will be taken against the accused.
