CJP Campaign: Now preparations are on to launch a nationwide campaign regarding the lack of basic facilities in government schools in rural areas. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke has announced that this campaign will be started from Hingoli, Maharashtra from August 15. Its objective is to reveal the real condition of government schools in villages and to activate people for improvement at the local level.

Parents will check the school facilities themselves

Under the campaign, parents will be appealed to inspect their children’s schools. They will be asked to see whether essential facilities like electricity, clean drinking water, usable toilets and mid-day meal are available in the school. Where deficiencies are found, they have been asked to record their status through photographs or videos.

CJP is also going to issue a form for this. Parents will be able to enter information about school problems in this form. According to the organization, the form and video evidence can be sent through email.

Campaign started from Hingoli (CJP Campaign)

Abhijeet Dipke told in a video message that he himself will start the campaign from his village in Hingoli, Maharashtra. He will meet the local Sarpanch and appeal to work towards improving the facilities of the government school.

Dipke says that even after so many years of independence, many government schools in rural areas are struggling for basic facilities. According to him, this affects the education of children as well as the education of girls especially.

What is CJP’s ‘Sarpanch Challenge’?

A major part of the campaign will be the ‘Sarpanch Challenge’. Under this, village sarpanches will be motivated to improve the condition of government schools in their area. It has been said that ‘before and after’ pictures of the school’s condition will be shared on social media once the school improves.

CJP believes that by publicly highlighting the good work done in one village, other Panchayat representatives can also be inspired to improve their schools.

Questions are being raised on rural education system

Dipke has raised the issue of problems like distance, drinking water and toilets in rural schools. He says that better government schools are very important for children whose families are dependent on farming or labour. Through the campaign, the organization wants to draw the attention of people and local public representatives on these basic needs.

CJP has agitated before also

Cockroach Janata Party has earlier conducted a long agitation at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against alleged irregularities in competitive examinations. According to the organization, the protest lasted for 36 days and ended on July 25. After this, in the meeting held in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, CJP decided to promote itself as a youth movement instead of electoral politics.

Now this campaign, which is being started regarding government schools, is being considered as the next part of the same campaign of the organization, in which efforts will be made to bring to light the problems to the education system by directly involving the local people.
