In Lucknow's Gomti Nagar, a bank employee allegedly first shot his wife dead. After this he reached home, where he also shot his sister and then committed suicide by shooting himself. After the incident, police and forensic team reached the spot and started investigation.

According to the police, the accused had called his wife to meet him outside the bank and after the conversation he opened fire on her. After this, he went home and targeted his sister. Before committing suicide, the accused also posted a status on WhatsApp in which he accused his wife of cheating. The police are now investigating the entire reason behind the murder and suicide.

Where was Divya Mishra shot?

According to the police, accused Manas Bajpai reached ICICI Bank by car on Thursday afternoon. Here his wife Divya Mishra worked as an assistant manager. Manas called Divya out of the bank by phone. There was a conversation between the two for some time. After this, Manas allegedly shot at Divya and fled from there. This incident, which happened outside the bank in broad daylight, created a stir in the neighborhood.

Targeted sister after reaching home

After attacking his wife, Manas reached his rented house located near Husdiya intersection, about two kilometers away. According to the people present nearby, he was very nervous at that time and appeared drenched in sweat. After entering the house, he closed the door of the room. After some time a voice was heard from inside. According to the police, Manas also shot his sister. His sister lived with him.

After this he also shot himself

After shooting at his sister, Manas also shot himself. As soon as information about the incident was received, police officers reached the spot. The forensic team also started collecting necessary evidence from the spot. According to local people, Manas's parents had already died. He worked as an accountant in SBI. It has also come to light that his sister is mentally ill.

Posted this status on WhatsApp before death

The biggest question in this entire case is regarding the WhatsApp status of the accused. Before committing suicide he had posted a status. In this he wrote about killing his wife and alleged that his wife had cheated on him. In the status he talked about killing his sister and himself. He also claimed to have knowledge of the matter to his wife's sister Pragya Mishra and her husband Bharat Yadav. Police is also making this status a part of the investigation.

Divya had filed for divorce from her husband

Divya Mishra was married to Manas about 12 years ago. Both of them had no children. It is being told that about a year ago, Divya had filed an application in the court for divorce from her husband. After this she started living separately in Alambagh area. Divya's sister Pragya Mishra is a well-known YouTuber. She has previously worked in Bharat Samachar and later started her own YouTube channel. Pragya married Bharat Yadav on 26 February 2020.

At present the police is investigating the matter. The entire reason behind the murder of the wife, attack on the sister and then the death of the accused is not yet clear. The police is connecting the links of the incident on the basis of forensic investigation and available evidence.
