Sonu Sood shared a post on the social media platform X regarding the situation in Nepal. Assuring the people of Nepal, he wrote, 'Nepal, you are not alone. We are bringing food, shelter and the strength to help you get back up. Along with the post, he also added Nepal flag and heart emoji.

Even before this, Sonu Sood has been coming forward to help the needy people in natural disasters and difficult situations. His announcement is raising hopes of relief amid this disaster in Nepal.

Manisha Koirala also expressed concern

Actress Manisha Koirala also expressed her concern on social media regarding the devastation in Nepal. While sharing a picture, he wrote that pray for Nepal and stand united with prayer and support.

Manisha Koirala has family ties to Nepal. His grandfather Vishweshwar Prasad Koirala was the first elected Prime Minister of Nepal. Manisha was also born in Kathmandu.

Claim of huge devastation in flood

On Wednesday morning, there was news of massive damage due to flash floods in many areas of central Nepal bordering Tibet. There have been reports of damage to houses, bridges and hydropower projects in the flood waters.

Available reports claim 160 deaths and more than 750 missing. Apart from this, Chinese media reports also say that hundreds of people are missing in Tibet region. However, until such huge figures are officially confirmed, it would not be appropriate to consider them as final figures.
