The District Netball Championship concluded today at Dogra Ground, Shastri Nagar, here.

The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from players representing various schools across different zones of Jammu district. Young athletes displayed great spirit, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the event.

The event was graced by Akash Batra, International Netball Player, Sher-e-Kashmir Awardee and Rakesh Sharma, president of Netball Association of Jammu & Kashmir, as the special guest.

Observers from the Sports Council attended the championship and highlighted the role of such events in promoting netball and identifying young talent at the district level.

The Championship served as an important platform to strengthen sports culture and nurture budding netball players in the Jammu region.
