Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal starred for Northamptonshire with a four-wicket haul against Durham in the County Championship on Thursday.

In the same game, Mayank Agarwal emerged as the second top-scorer in the first innings for Durham with a 57-ball 36.

These two were among the seven Indians who were in action for county sides across the first and second divisions of the County Championship on Thursday.

Left-arm spinner R Sai Kishore chipped in with an all-round performance for Gloucestershire, scoring a 39-ball 20 before claiming a wicket from his 11 overs.

Meanwhile, J&K seamer Auqib Nabi claimed his first wickets in County cricket, taking two scalps for Surrey across both innings against Yorkshire. His teammate, Rahul Chahar, though ended the day wicketless.

Nabi’s first wicket was that of Kuldeep Yadav, who didn’t get to bowl on Thursday, but was dismissed twice.

Left-arm spinner Manav Suthar had a productive day with the ball, bagging two wickets for Warwickshire against Hampshire.
