UPSC ESE 2027: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has launched a major recruitment drive for young aspirants aiming for government jobs in the engineering sector. The second paper relates to the candidate's specific engineering branch; it carries 300 marks and allows a duration of 3 hours. The content of the second paper will be based on the specific engineering discipline for which the candidate has applied.

**Recruitment Across Four Engineering Streams**

UPSC ESE 2027 will facilitate recruitment across four major engineering categories: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. According to the notification, there are approximately 480 vacancies. Of these, 19 posts are designated for candidates with disabilities (PwBD category). However, the number of vacancies is not final and is subject to change.
