New Delhi:Before the assembly elections to be held in five states including Uttar Pradesh next year, the Bharatiya Janata Party has made major changes in the organization. BJP National President Nitin Naveen on Thursday released the list of new organization in-charges, in which many senior leaders have been given important responsibilities. According to the list released by the party, Shivprakash has been made the National Co-General Secretary (Organization) and has been given the charge of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Goa, the center of which will be Mumbai. At the same time, Saudan Singh has been given the responsibility of eastern states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal, the center of which will be Bhubaneswar.

Senior organizer V. Sathish has been given the charge of the organizational work of the party's SC and ST Morcha as well as the parliamentary office. He will look after the work from Delhi. Apart from this, Nagendra has been given the responsibility of contacting senior workers.

In whose hands is the command of Uttar Pradesh?

This reshuffle is considered very important from the point of view of Uttar Pradesh. In UP, Dharampal has been retained as State General Secretary (Organization) in Lucknow, while the command of Braj region has been handed over to Abhay Giri and his center will be Agra. It is believed that this decision has been taken to further strengthen the party in Braj region.

Whereas in Maharashtra, Ajay Jamwal has been made the State General Secretary (Organization), while Satish Dhond has been given the responsibility of Tribal Contact as well as Assistant General Secretary in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Who will handle the responsibilities of other states?

Talking about other states, Madhukar has been made in-charge of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Bhikhubhai Dalsania of Bihar, Pawan Sai of Jharkhand, Ratnakar of Gujarat, Chandrashekhar of Madhya Pradesh and Karmaveer of Chhattisgarh. Pawan Rana has got the responsibility of Delhi and Haryana, while Minister Srinivasulu has got the responsibility of Punjab and Chandigarh. Amitabh Chakraborty in West Bengal and Manas Mohanty in Odisha will look after the work of the organization. This organizational change of BJP is being seen as a preparation for the assembly elections to be held in 2027. The party wants to strengthen its hold in the states through new faces and experienced organizers.
