Amrit Thoughts: The Principal of Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College has issued an important order extending the period of medicine given to the patients coming to OPD. Now, instead of five days as before, medicines for ten days will be provided to the patients free of cost. For this, instructions have also been given to all the department heads by Acting Principal Dr. DS Martolia.
Earlier, only five days of medicine was being given to the patients coming for OPD treatment in Darshan Nagar, the hospital affiliated to the college.

Now 10 days medicine will be available from OPD

Keeping in mind the needs of the patients and continuity of treatment, it has been decided to provide medicine for ten days. In the order, all the heads of departments have been requested to inform the medical staff associated with OPD of their respective departments about this instruction. Also ensure that the necessary medicines for ten days are available to the patients on time as per the rules. This system has been implemented with immediate effect. The Principal clarified that this step has been taken with the aim of increasing the convenience of the patients and preventing any interruption in treatment. Many times patients faced difficulty in coming to the hospital again and again to take medicines. Now by getting medicine for ten days, the need for frequent visits will be reduced and the treatment will also be able to continue. The patient can now go to the medicine counter and ask for medicine for ten days.
