Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini , who is on a three-day visit to Singapore , on Sunday apprised the Singaporean business community of investment opportunities in Haryana.
Aiming to strengthen industrial cooperation between Haryana and Singapore and attract foreign investment , Saini, on Day 1 of his visit, participated in a programme organised by the Singapore Business Federation .
Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Indian ambassador to Singapore Dr Shilpak Ambule were also present.
Distinguished industrialists from Singapore and prominent representatives from various sectors also participated in the event.
Saini apprised the participants of Haryana’s investor-friendly policies , industrial potential, infrastructure development and available facilities for investors. He urged representatives of the Singapore business community to take advantage of the investment opportunities available in the state.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted the investment potential of Chhattisgarh.
Ambassador Ambule emphasised the need to further strengthen economic and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
During the programme, detailed discussions were held with experts and business representatives from various sectors, including manufacturing, technology, logistics, energy, education and healthcare.
Saini expressed hope that such discussions would give a new direction to bilateral cooperation between India and Singapore and help develop new opportunities for investment, trade and technological collaboration between the two countries.
Haryana industries and commerce minister Rao Narbir Singh was also present.
