Said- Central Government ready to call a special session of Parliament to discuss the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter list.
Karnal. Taking aim at the Congress, Union Home Minister Amit Shah alleged that Rahul Gandhi has made creating ruckus in the Parliament the working style of the Congress. Addressing a public meeting after the 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy' march in Karnal, Haryana, Shah reiterated that the central government is ready to call a special session of Parliament to discuss the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list.
He said, Rahul Gandhi has made creating ruckus in the Parliament the working style of the Congress. We are ready to call a special session of Parliament to discuss the issue of SIR. He said that it is the BJP's resolve to identify the infiltrators and remove their names from the voter list.
Taking aim at the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India), Shah said the purpose of its rally is not to protect votes but to save infiltrators. Asking for details of Rahul Gandhi's foreign trips, he said, you are the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, people have the right to know this.
The 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy' campaign is being run at a time when political conflict continues between the BJP and opposition parties over allegations of electoral irregularities and the functioning of democratic institutions.
On November 1, the opposition alliance 'India' had organized a 'Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao' rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. In this, opposition leaders had accused the central government of electoral irregularities and demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Shah had also led a 'Save Democracy' march in Hyderabad on Monday. During this, he had made a sharp counterattack on the opposition alliance 'India' on the allegations of 'vote theft'.
