Actress Chhavi Mittal revealed her battle with early-stage breast cancer in 2022. Earlier this year, she shared the uplifting news with her fans that she had made a full recovery. Recently, TV star Hina Khan was diagnosed with breast cancer. Known for her breakthrough role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and her appearance in Bigg Boss 11, Hina has been receiving an outpouring of love and support from her fans for her courageous and positive outlook on life. In an exclusive conversation with Times of India TV, Chhavi Mittal opened up about her discussion with Hina Khan, praising her for the strength and grace with which she is handling her battle with breast cancer.



Speaking about her chat with Hina, Chhavi shared, "I had a brief chat with her, and she’s doing well. Having been through this myself, I understand it’s a deeply personal journey, and every survivor or fighter should decide what their safe space is. I reached out to her and told her that if she ever wants to share something with a fellow survivor, I’m here for her. We had a very sweet and meaningful conversation, and I left it at that."



Chhavi further praised Hina for managing everything so well and continuing to work while battling breast cancer. "I think she’s handling it really well. From my own experience, I felt that continuing to work and staying engaged helped me a lot. It was a distraction that allowed me to focus elsewhere, making the journey a bit less overwhelming compared to when there’s nothing else to occupy your mind. Of course, I faced challenges and pain too, but channeling my energy into work made a huge difference. Hina is also doing the same, and I think it’s a great approach," she concluded.

On the work front, Chhavi recently returned to television with Pati Patni Aur Baby with Karan V Grover and Pracheen Chauhan.
