Pant was a part of Delhi Capitals for the last 9 years but now GMR Group will run this franchise for 2 years and it wants to make Shreyas Iyer the captain of the team again. According to reports, Delhi's other owner JSW Group was in support of Pant but GMR Group always wanted to keep Iyer as the captain.
